The Divine Mercy Church was consecrated on 29th June 2003, by Most Rev. Aruldas James, the “Archbishop of Madras” and the first Feast was celebrated on 18th April 2004.

The church became a reality due to the untiring and combined efforts of the Faithful of Anna Nagar, Rev Sr. Mary Theodore O.A.M. of “MITHRA”, Rev Fr. Michael Raj, SSP and the support of Society of St Paul, India. Rev.
